Q: What are the attractions or benefits of using a blindfold?
A: Blindfolds, and other equipment which restricts the sight, has a most simple yet effective result. Essentially, when one sense is restricted, the other senses are automatically heightened in order to compensate for the loss. Thus, when blindfolded, your hearing will become sharper (all the better to hear Mistress approaching), your sense of smell will become more sensitive (all the better to breathe in the aroma of latex, or leather, or candle wax …), and your sense of touch will become enhanced (all the better to enjoy the cruel caresses of Mistress). In addition, such interference and control of the senses can achieve another form of ‘gnosis’ by making you super-aware of stimuli recognized and identified in a number of new ways.

Q: How can blindfolding be used during a session?
A: Mistress has a classic collection of blindfolds and hoods, and is partial to improvisation, always inventing new ways to restrict the senses and take your journey a little further each time. However, do not be fooled into believing that the blindfold is for your benefit alone, as keeping your eyes from looking upon your Mistress can be a far more terrible torture than any physical infliction. Plus, sometimes, I quite simply just can’t stand the unworthy gazing at me, especially with those simpering expressions of nauseating adoration you seem to favour.
