Branding:

Q: What is branding?
A: Branding is a form of scarification done with a third degree burn to the skin. Once the burn heals, a design of scar tissue is left behind on the skin surface.

Q: What do you use for the branding?
A: I have a branding-iron of the letter ‘D’ (for Mistress Dometria).  The ‘D’ is approximately 2 inches high (see picture above).

Q: Why would I want to be branded by you?
A: Well only you can answer that, but my branding you is the ultimate expression of your submission to me.  It shows that you are devoted to me and that you are owned by me.

Q: Where will you brand me?
A: Branding is best carried out on a larger area of skin and away from any joints.  My preference is for the top of the buttocks (see picture above), or the outside of the upper arm.

Q: How do you heat the branding-iron?
A: The branding-iron is heated until it is extremely hot using a propane cooking stove.

Q: How is the brand applied?  A: Wearing latex gloves, the hot branding-iron is placed against the skin and ‘rolled’ to ensure that every part of it makes contact with the skin.  It touches the skin for no more than a second.  Quickly removing the iron results in a light scar.  Leaving the iron in place a little longer (with out adding pressure) makes a heavier scar.

Q: How do you prepare the skin for a branding?
A: The location of where the brand will be and surrounding area is cleaned using alcohol gel, or Betadine.  The skin is then scrubbed thoroughly in one direction. Since the brand itself is a third degree burn, cauterization takes place.  The real danger of infection comes as the scab develops.  If the scabs crack they can become a portal for bacteria.

Q: What treatment do you administer to the brand?
A: Directly after the branding takes place, I will apply a moderate amount of anti-bacterial ointment, using a fresh glove.  I will then cover the brand with a sterile dressing and secure it with surgical tape.  After three days of you applying ointment yourself you should switch to Hydrogen Peroxide three times a day.  After seventy-two hours it is no longer necessary to keep the brand covered, but you can if you like.  You should not touch the scabs as they form, but allow them to form and remove themselves naturally.  You should not get the brand wet at all for the first month.  You should not pick the scabs, but use hot water in the shower to evenly remove them if you desire.  You should follow this with Hydrogen Peroxide.

Q: How long does the brand take to heal?
A: Total healing time is 12-18 months for the full 'effect' to then be realised on the skin and it must be remembered that healing is individual, dependent on the unique properties of each person's skin.

Q: Do you insist that I have to sign anything consenting to the branding?
A: Yes most definitely;  you will be required to sign a form stating that you agree to the branding before receiving it and that you fully understand that the brand will result in a scar.  You will be required to sign this form in front of a third party witness.

Q: What is your tribute to carry out a branding?
A: My tribute to carry out a branding is £240.00 and I will require full payment in advance.  This includes a proper BDSM session for an hour, leading up to a branding at the end.  Alternatively you can be branded and then leave without having a session with me.

Q: Yes I am interested.  What do I do now?
A: Call me.
