Electrics Play:
Q: What is
electrics play?
Q: What is
used in electrics play? a) The ‘Violet Ray’ Generator (also known as an ‘ultra violet device’), is both the most desirable and elusive piece of electrics equipment. Between 1915 and 1950 (under brand names such as Masters, Elco, and Renulife), literally tens of these devices were sold for ‘home use’, along with accompanying literature which claimed that the apparatus could cure anything from ‘heart disease and paralyses to ‘a wry neck and writer’s cramp’. Arsene D'Arsonval's experiments in the latter part of the 19th century examined the physiological effects of electrical stimulation at frequencies varying from DC up to 10,000 cycles per second. The lowest frequencies varying from DC up to 10,000 cycles per second. The lowest frequencies had chiefly metabolic effects. As the rate increased, muscular contractions were observed; which fused into tetany at about 20-30 stimulations per second. The intensity of excitation increased up to about 5000 stimuli per second, then began to decline as the frequency continued rising to about 10,000 per second – the limit obtainable with the apparatus of the day. In 1890, Heinrich Hertz produced electromagnetic radiation, confirming Maxwell's predictions of twenty years earlier. D'Arsonval's experiments in 1891 found that the Hertzian waves had very few perceptible effects of the sort found at lower frequencies. Tesla, in America, suggested physicians experiment with the heating effects of radio waves; D'Arsonval and his collaborator Paul Marie Oudin, using Tesla apparatus modified for greater safety, proceeded to do so. The ‘Violet Ray’ machine is a version of the D'Arsonval/Oudin equipment. A hand-held coil feeds radio energy into a low-pressure gas electrode. The energy is capacitively coupled into the human body, providing warmth via diathermy. At the same time, the gas discharge creates ozone and ultraviolet light, which were said to be effective in many skin diseases. More powerful versions of this apparatus were found in many physicians' offices. Diathermy is still used today, though the energy is now most commonly applied through inductive, rather than capacitive, coupling. b) The ‘Eros Tek’ boxes are highly-sophisticated units, with 18 programmed stimulation modes plus additional modes which can be programmed by the user. Main features include (two isolated outputs with symmetrical balanced bipolar waveforms with additional) input sockets for a microphone or music system, and options allowing the unique 'tri-phase' experience which provides three simultaneous sensations. The original erotic play electro-devices were inspired by the 1950s ‘Relaxacisor’, which provided passive ‘exercise’ by stimulating muscles with an electrical current. This later became more commonly known as EMS (electro muscle stimulation), and is still used today. The medical profession helped out in the late 1970s with the introduction of TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation). TENS is widely used by physical therapists for pain management, thus is optimized to act on nerves rather than muscles, and therefore typically less powerful, especially as TENS is designed to deaden sensation (such as back pain). Made-for-play devices (which work on roughly the same principles as TENS and EMS) first became popular somewhere around the early 1980s, but these boxes were limited in their capacity and options, and it wasn’t until Eros Tex developed digital DPT (dynamic pulse technology) in the late 1990s, that e-stim devices became more popular for erotic play. (Eros Tek is a small company (partnered with SexTek), which was the first to introduce digital erotic e-stim technology (for play) into the general market in early 1999, and is made up of individuals with extensive experience in both erotic e-stim, and advanced hardware and software engineering). c) The ‘Electrastim’ unit is a more modern and mild-to-moderate piece of apparatus which, whilst simply running on a standard 9-volt battery, still provides enough power to enable you to experience a tantalizing taste of the potential of electrics play. The ‘made for play’ digital stimulation units are finely tuned to work on both uni-polar and bi-polar levels, and a more recent development, the ‘SensaVox’, is a dual-channel stimulator with audio input. d) The ‘Nova 100’ mind machine (also known as a light/sound machine) is a top of the line, professional quality device, with 100 built-in relaxation, meditation, sleep, learning, energize, visualize, entertain and special purpose sessions, with room to download up to 100 more sessions. It is AudioStrobe (a registered Trademark of Tamas Laboratories in Germany, who holds the German patent on the technology) compatible, with microphone input and finely-tuned volume control. The Nova Pro 100 pitch is extended two octaves at the low end, to 16 hertz (a total of 14 new pitches). The total pitch range is 16Hz to 960Hz, 6 octaves of the just scale, 7 notes/octave. Also, the pitch 2 relative to pitch 1 mode is extended to cover P1 minus 1 to 15 hertz, as well as the P1 plus 1 to 15 hertz provided on the Nova Pro. Even the low frequencies have a very powerful effect with the standard headphones, and this may be enhanced with headphones of a more complex technology. Stimulation frequency on the Nova Pro 100 was extended downward by two octaves, from one hertz to 1/4 hertz. There also are three new frequencies, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 hertz (only three frequencies, but it is two octaves). Frequencies go in steps of 1/4 hertz through 2 hertz, 1/2 hertz through 10 hertz, 1 hertz through 20 hertz and 2 hertz through 42 hertz. The Schumann resonance at 7.83 hertz is also included. Duty cycle control from 1/8 to 7/8 in steps of 1/8 is provided. There are six selectable phasing relationships between the four stimulation channels (two eyes, two ears) in the pulsed tones. Light phase is also controllable in the binaural beat modes. There are 7 sound tones, utilizing the two frequencies F1 and F2 and pitches P1 and P2: PFr, pulsed frequency. Pitch P1 is pulsed at frequency F1. The pulsed tones provide a beep beep sound at the selected frequency F1 while the lights are blinking at the F1 rate. PSu, pulsed surf. A surf sound is pulsed at frequency F1. PCh, a pulsed chord with controllable chord separation from a minor third to a full octave. bb, binaural beats sends different pitches to two ears (pitch P1 to the left ear, Pitch P1 plus frequency F1 to the right ear) and the sound source direction detection mechanism in your auditory system picks up the difference frequency F1, while the lights blink at the F1 rate. bbS, binaural beats with surf, a soothing surf sound is the background for binaural beats.
dbb, in dual
binaural beats there are four tone generators running at once, the left
ear receives pitches P1 and P2 mixed together, the right ear receives
pitch (P1+F1) mixed with pitch (P2+F2). This gives two binaural beat
ranges at the same time, and provides for monaural beat possibilities.
There are
many names for this type of technology, including audio-visual
stimulation devices, and light and sound entertainment devices (SLEDs).
Essentially, a mind machine is a small, low spec, computer which
controls signals to the light spectacles and headphones. The first
concepts were born in the late 1940s by Gray Walter, who had noticed
that flashing lights caused the human brain to follow the same
frequencies. Following from this discovery, numerous machines were
developed for brainwave entrainment. A majority included tiny lights
mounted in a pair of spectacles.
Q: How can
electrics be used during a session?
Q: How safe
are electrics? On a more physical level, Mistress regrets that electrics play is not recommended for those with respiratory, heart, blood/blood pressure conditions, and is not recommended for those ‘of years’. In addition, electrics play should not be used in the case of certain neurological and endocrine conditions, epilepsy being one perfect example of such, or be used above the waist (apart from in the case of mind machines). It is especially vital with electrics play that you inform Mistress of any medical or physical conditions you may have, regardless of whether or not you personally feel or think that they are relevant. If anyone with a pacemaker is considering electrics play, then may I suggest that, instead of a visit to my dungeon, you instead pay a visit to a Harley Street psychologist. Whilst psychology may well be within Mistress’s field, anyone this foolish is way beyond even My help. Please note: I only ever use electrics play if I am 100% happy that you and the session will benefit from such use. If I have even the slightest doubts regarding your suitability to partake in electrics play, I reserve the right to cancel and/or stop the session immediately. When electrics play is in use during a session, I will be constantly monitoring you and have simple, safe, and effective techniques for indicating exactly when I should stop … in a medical sense, that is. |
