Restraints & Hoods:
Q: What are the attractions or
benefits of restraints and hoods?
A:
As with
bondage, the restriction of individual limbs, sections of the torso, or
the entire body, and can be achieved to a number of degrees of
simplicity, complexity, or extremity, in a variety of differing ways.
Mistress, of course, has an impressively stocked and equipped dungeon
which offers a multitude of exciting restriction possibilities. In
addition to which, I am superbly skilled in this art, and whilst I do
not offer kinbaku (authentic Japanese rope bondage) I can perform other
forms of restriction, leather restraint, hog tying, et al, all to an
expertly executed (and completely safe) degree.
The
sensation of being restricted/bound/restrained is often reported as
being akin to a feeling of being embraced or ‘protected’, to being
‘held’ in arms which possess a supernatural strength enough to keep you
there, to keep you safely and comfortingly, as though back in the womb.
The actual act of being bound works towards achieving this state, as
with each binding and/or attachment or equipment, each of the
accumulative single acts of the binding experience, you will experience
a falling away sensation which is your journey towards the unique and
blissful serenity which this extraordinary discipline and meditation
brings. In addition, the use of hoods in a session of this kind adds to
the delights of bondage/restriction, inasmuch as the head, being encased
in a hood as well as the body being constrained, not only carried forth
this philosophy, but also encompasses the benefits of sensory
deprivation (sight, sound, smell, taste, and of course the feeling of
the hood upon the head). For fetishists of specific materials, like
rubber for example, and gasmasks, to have the head encased in a hood
fashioned from that material works on yet another heightened level of
facilitating your enjoyment of both your fetish and the intricacies of
the restraint within the session.
Q: How can restraints and
hoods be used during a session?
A: Again, as
with bondage, in addition to achieving ‘gnosis’, hoods and restraints
are a beautiful and blatant way for Mistress to keep all your wriggling
worms from annoying Me ever further with your, quite frankly simply
unacceptable, squirming. Restraint in particular, may sometimes be
essential parts of an extreme session, whereby you must be held still
and/or in one place for your own safety, e.g. when indulging in knife
play, for example, or for extra effect when in an interrogation
scenario. Hoods, again, Mistress reiterates, are often used in sessions
which incorporate sensory deprivation, and hoods especially do give that
extra added something, i.e. the feeling of being ‘isolated’ within your
own ‘personal prison’. In particular, Mistress often uses gasmasks
during smoking sessions, whereby I will blow the cigarette smoke into
the mask, or in the same way, to administer amyl nitrate (for more
extreme amyl sessions). Of course, if Mistress does not want to look
upon your face, She may simply choose to encase you in one of Her many
hoods, just for purely aesthetic value, and let us not forget the added
value of hoods giving a certain anonymity to the wearer, whereby the
wearing of such can assist you with feeling as though you have left your
own identity behind and have, in effect, become a completely different
creature, a faceless, nameless entity which is know simply as … slave.
Q: How safe are restraints and
hoods?
A: The restraint techniques Mistress uses are perfectly safe, as is hood
play with Mistress (no matter what that entails), as I use these
techniques and equipment with the utmost care and responsibility.
However, certain restraint and
hood play techniques are not recommended for those with respiratory,
heart, arthritic, circulation, or blood pressure conditions, and may not
be advised for those ‘of years’. For example, Mistress would not
consider using extreme hood/gasmask play involving cigarette smoke
and/or amyl nitrate should you suffer from respiratory problems.
In addition, restraints
and hoods may have to be avoided in the case of certain neurological and
endocrine conditions, epilepsy being one perfect example of such.
Therefore, it is especially vital that you not only inform Mistress of
any medical or physical conditions you may have, but also any
psychiatric or psychological issues, in addition to any medications you
are taking, regardless of whether or not you personally feel or think
that they are relevant.
Please
note: I only ever use restraint and hood techniques if I am 100% happy
that you and the session will benefit from such use. If I have even the
slightest doubts regarding your suitability to partake in bondage, I
reserve the right to cancel and/or stop the session immediately. When
restraints and hoods are in use during a session, I will be constantly
monitoring you and have simple and effective techniques to ensure your
safety at all times.
